Dynamic Disk can not be accessed

I have a Dynamic disk containing music files that can not be accessed by
Vista Ultimate,but can be accessed by Windows XP. By importing the disk under
XP I was able to open all the music files. This was not possible with Vista
Ultimate.What is the problem?
