e-amil attachment problem since August updates

Since the Microsoft Security updates for August 14, 2007 our domain has had a
degraded download speed from the internet. Our Outlook has problems with
e-mails with attachments. When we disable the Microsoft windows firewall the
problem disappears. Have there been reports of difficulties with this set of
updates?
