E:/ application not found

hi
my names ricky. i'm having trouble with my cd/dvd drive. when i try t
put a disc in i get an error message "e:/ application not found" m
autoplay function is turned off. so i go to My Computer and just doubl
click the E drive and thats what it says. if i right click, depending o
the disc i get an "install or run program" option thats bold, if i clic
that i get the same error message. i can go to "explore" or "open" wit
no problems with a game thats already on my computer
but i tried installing software for my new keyboard last night and
couldnt access anything that was on the disk.
any help pleas

I am not sure if it will help in your case, but my son had the same
problem today. He fixed it by cleaning the port with a compressed air
can.
