Will someone take the time to tell me where deleted e-mails are stored on my
computer? I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 with Windows Vista 32
bit. Thanks for your help.

OK, here is how I find mine:
From Explorer find the AppDats folder and walk your way down through the
folders as shown:

AppData>Local>Microsoft>Windows Mail>Local Folders>Deleted

You can recover any email that has been deleted or you can get rid of those
that are still sitting there. By mistake recently deleted everything that
was in my Inbox thinking I was in the Deleted folder. Played around for a
while and was finally able to restore them all out of the Deleted folder.
This is also a way of getting rid of everything in any of your NG or Mail
folders. You can delete NG folders and they will be restored if you
subscribe to them. Slow fingers and think as you go to stay out of trouble.

MLD,

Read again. They use Outlook 2007. Not Windows Mail. Two *different*
products.

Gene L.,

Your deleted items location will depend on how you connect to your email
server. POP3? Exchange?

For Outlook (the full Office product) it would be in a local PST file if -
for example - you use POP3 to get your email. Although - the location on
the computer means very little - as it is just part of the entire database
holding all your email. In outlook - look in your "Deleted Items" folder -
should be on the same level as your "Inbox" via the folder list on the left
side. If you don't see what you are looking for there and this is POP3 -
sorry - gone.

If Exchange connected - it can be sotred in a similar local file (OST) - but
again - doesn't matter much. You get to it inside Outlook in the same
manner. If it is gone from the Deleted items folder in this case - all may
not be lost yet - as you can also use "Tools --> Recover Deleted Items" with
the folder that message was last in highlighted in the folder list on the
left side. That greatly depends on the Exchange Server setup and how long
the administrator of said server allows for these items to stick around.
And the last hope would be asking the Exchange Administrator - although most
of the time it is such a pain to restore single items like that - they will
tell you they cannot. ;-)
