'E:\wrapper.exe' unrecoverable error: couldn't find libary msvcr80

Problem Description: I get the following message when I try to autoplay a
maths cd (edexel). This used to work prior to installation of MS Office 2007!

'E:\wrapper.exe' had the following unrecoverable error: couldn't find libary
msvcr80.dll (required by c:\program files\ common files\ microsoft shared
\office 12\ msoxmlmf.dll)

I have no idea how to fix this error. If there is any patch that I can
download, please advise.
