Easy Access on Login

How can I remove the easy access button from the login screen?

I have gone into the Control Panel, Easy Access Center, but nothing is
checked. I have checked and unchecked, restarted, BUT still the easy access
button appears on the login screen at startup. Is there a way to remove it?

There is no registry or Policy setting available to remove the accessibility
option from Welcome. You might as well complain about a ramp next to some
public steps as being 'unsightly'.

I guess I should have clarified this a little more. It's not the button
itselft, it's the keyboard that keeps popping up to login that I wanted to
stop.

Probably, one of the other users on Welcome configured the onscreen keyboard
for their profile.
