Easy Transfer Error

I just installed everything and the connection between the machines
establishes. I select the files that I want transfer and then I get a
Windows message telling me that an error has occurred and Easy Transfer has
to close. This has happend four times now and I have no idea what's wrong.

Anyone have any ideas? Or am I going to have to go and purchase an external
drive?
