I have a new Vista with 3G of memory and a 500GB harddrive, so why when I try
to get easy transfer to run do I get the "not enough storage availalbe"
error? I get it when I try to install some of the things for the cable, too.
And I've gone into reg edit and my Page Poll is set to 0, so that's not it.

It's really a 50MB hard drive :-)

It sounds like you have the wrong destination Drive for the data.

I have what sounds like the same type of target system (HP, 500 GB harddrive)
and the same problem (no more space available). I believe my problem is I'm
attempting to move from a 'D' partition on the XP system and with the Easy
Transfer Cable installed on the XP system, you don't get a choice of where to
move the data to. The 'D' partition on the HP system is factory installed
stuff and system recovery areas. It's about 10GB of total space with around
7GB used. Once the Easy Transfer application moves 3GB or so from 'D:\...' to
the new 'D:\...' , it's "No more space available" and things get very quiet.

I can't find out how to change the target location on the new system, it
doesn't appear to be possible when using the cable. I'm using a Belkin cable
but it doesn't sound like a cable problem it sounds like a braindead
application.
