Easy transfer stops on my Vista Notebook

I have put my data from my PC with Windows XP SP2 on a USB-stick. And when
Easy Transfer wants to start to transfer the data. It stops and says it can
not transfer the data. Easy Transfer will be closed.

Who can help me?

It is probably a Permissions problem. Possibly your XP data was marked
'private' or you turned off 'simple file sharing' on the XP system. Use the
Vista machine to run the 'TakeOwn' and 'CACLS' utilities on the usb drive
files.
