edit button is grayed out when trying to edit tracks

When I right click on a track in my Library I can't access the edit button.
It is grayed out. Any way to fix this?

Does this happen for all tracks or just one? Is WMP still able to play
the track? Check in Explorer if the corresponding file has the read-only
attribute set, and remove this attribute if necessary. Also make sure
that you have the required permissions to modify the file.
