Edit the .Exe file and .Mui file

Hi

Please explain how to edit the exe file in Vista using XN Resourc
Editer. I tried lot of times , i can edit the file but i could not sav
the file. when i save it ,i am getting "cannot rename original file
saving cancelled" error. any one help me pleeeeeeeeease. I need ASAP

Well, if you had half a brain, you would have asked the author of ' XN Resource Editer '
It seems the last update was Version 3.0.0.1, released 17th December 2005.
Vista not even mentioned in the list of operating systems:

"XN Resource Editor is a free, powerful, fully featured resource editor and PE module explorer for Windows 98, Windows
2000 and Windows XP."

I know the "XN Resource editor" feature. i try to make the theme i
vista. if you know pls answer me.

I don't know what ' try to make the theme in vista ' means.

However, XN Resource Editor will not work with Vista.
XN Resource Editor is too old.
You need a modern exe inspector for Vista files.

I use PE Explorer:
http://www.heaventools.com/overview.htm

This program will edit the resources and decompile exe files.
It is not free, you will have to pay for it.

Did you copy the EXE to a new location first or are you potentially trying
to edit a protected file that is potentially already in use?

Since you're just talking about hacking resources, this really doesn't seem
tooooooo Vista related. =)
