When someone calls or when I start a video call my web will show a big red X
on the camera. This is on a setup that has been very stable for about 18
months conducting three daily sessions without any issues, the X showed up a
few days ago. We need help, we have exhausted our know how to fix this
issue, we also tried a new Logitech Cam. Did no better than an old Intel.

We are running WLM 14.0.8089.726 with Vista Home Premium.

Will appreciate any suggestions to get the video working again. Thanks

LuC

I "discovered" that when the red X is there, it seems that the camera is not
being recognized.

What I've done, and it seems to help, is to unplug the camera, then open
messenger, then plug in the camera. It gets "recognized" and it works.

I don't know if that will help you or not.
