Else Jump.exe

When I start up Vista I am getting the message "Else Jump.exe had
encountered a
problem and needs to close" It does not appear to affect the use of the PC,
but what the hell is Else Jump.exe, and any ideas how to stop what its
doing.

No idea but seems you also have the same problem running XP

What gives?

Posted wrong info, definetly running Vista Basic, frustration caused agro in
what was happening.

As someone said in one of the forums you posted on - try running a
spyware/Anti virus program

Have tried Spyware/Virus checker nothing detected, have deleted the File
Else Jump.exe removed it from the Recycle Bin, but on restart PC still
reports Else Jump.exe has encountered... which seems odd as the file no
longer exists.

Thanks for help, tried virustotal but like my own virus checker it found
nothing wrong. However it gave me an idea there must be a programme
somewhere on my laptop that was creating the file else_jump.exe in the
Windows/Preftech folder, searching the disk failed to find it. But running a
search in Regedit did, it was located in C:\documents and
settings/allusers/Application data, trying to delete it failed as it stated
file in use etc, rebooted into Safe Mode with command navigated to the
appropriate folder and deleted the file.

Problem solved, no idea where this file originated from.
