Hello
We have a email issue that is not going away.

We have a SBS 2003 machine and a server for TS.
However, emails are disappearing both sending and receiving.

Office sends email out - Receiver has not record out email.
Receiver sends email in - we show no record of receiving it.
It only happens to external clients. and completely random.

We get a process.exe error in the SBS 2003 logs. However, can't get rid of
it.
The patch says I have a newer version of exchange. etc

If you run Message Tracking on the emails, does it show where it fails, or
does it show emails are getting sent out to the Internet?

Can you post all errors you see in the Event logs, please?

Have you ran an SBSBPA?

SBS visit the Official SBS blog at http://blogs.technet.com/sbs. Download
the SBS 2008 version from here ...

What version of Exchange do you have?

Are you getting any NDRs or is an internet user that is sending to your
users getting an NDR?

Are you running Outlook on the sbs server for use with TS. As it is
recomended that Outlook be installed on a seperate machine.

Hello,

Thanks for your post and others' good input.

I agree with Ace that the Message Tracking Center in Exchange server will tell you more clues. If the emails are arrived at your server end and then disappeared, in addition,
please check your anti-virus and anti-spam software installed if any, and disable all of them for test purpose.
