I have users with Imate which uses GPRS for activesync. The users gets thier
emails. They delete some and sync again. The mails stays in the inbox folder
on the server (Exchange 2003) and not moved into Deleted Items.
Please Advice.

The server delete is partially controlled by

inbox/tools/options/empty...

The user should use tools/emptydeleted.. then reconnect... the deletion
on the server will occur on the connection to the mail server following
the empty action.

This is not the case. The PocktPc is configuared to "Sync to Serve" It does
not uses pop3/smtp account. The user use ActiveSync thrue GPRS and not
Send/Recieve.
In This configuaration the empty Deleted is Grayed (Disabled) if I manualy
delete all the Deleted items... Still the emailes remain on server (Exchange
2003 ).
This situation is in more then one PocktPc, Can the problem be on the sever?
Plaes H E L P ....

Amir,

Let me try to understand: they stay in the server also after you manually
sync?

Keep in mind that unless you are using direct push or timed sync, the
synchronization is not automatic....

Problem Solved.
Yes ! in more then 1 PocketPc, actualy 3. I Installed on my home computer a
Device Emulatur from Microsoft and realized that my server is fine and can
delete emails.
Then I totaly removed all the email configuartion from 1 pocketpc,
re-configuared it to sync directly to server and tested - it works !
Did the same on all - They work!

Tnx 4 the help.
