email not verified

I recently installed Windows Messenger 4.7 on a home PC for my girls to
communicate with me while I'm at work.

Works fine, but the new install say's "email address not verifed" at the
top. I never recieved the confirming email (it has been 3 days) and the Help
button only tells me to click on the email to verify.

How do I get Window Messenger to send the email again?

That version is old and vulnerable. Try one of these:

MS Windows 98SE/ME: MSN Messenger 7.0
MS Windows 2000/XP: MSN Messenger 7.5
MS Windows XP: Windows Live Messenger 8.1

There is a link to request that the verification email be resent, but the
MSFT site is being balky, and I don't have it in bookmarks.

If you haven't seen the confirmation email in your Inbox, did you check your
spam folder? If you have one...
