"Unexpectedly terminated" is usually caused by interference from an
antivirus program. As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus
should be turned off, although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all
bad effects. In your case, I suggest doing a trial uninstall of Kaspersky,
reboot, then try Windows Mail again. Also, most new computers come
with a free trial of Norton or McAfee antivirus. Was that the case here?
