Recently, Microsoft lost a "custody" battle over ActiveX control with Eola.
Ergo, It comes as no surprise that flash animations or anything else in the
script that uses the term embed object, etc. is going to create a box around
the object which has to be clicked before the flash item can be made to work,
say, like a a menu tree. To say that this is an annoyance is an
understatement as evertime the user returns to the main page they have to do
it again. Is anyone aware if Microsoft will or is able to correct this
issue. Other browsers like Opera don't seem to have the problem. I'm
particularly interested if anyone has a javascript entry or other means to
bypass the ActiveX flash control problem
