I checked my virus vault and it told me that I have Embedded infections that
could only be healed in WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com. I went there and was
unable to find my problem. The virus is listed as Virus identified
Java/ByteVerify and I have several of those any suggestions will be helpful.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Java Plug-in,
click on the Cache tab, then click Clear.

You really should download the newest Java software, available
free, from Sun Microsystems:
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Make sure to uninstall the old version of Java first.
