There is no real boot disk. There are boot "helper" disks that contains
several of the system files but it still boots to the same partition on the
same hard drive as specificed in the Boot.ini file. The floppy is useless
if the HD is dead.
The closest thing to a true boot floppy is a DOS boot floppy with NTFSDOS
installed on the Floppy.
The free version of NTFSDOS is read-only.
The version you pay for is read-write.
