How to enable Add-in

Hello All,

I want to build a custom Add-in But How do i enable the Addin in MSN 2009? I
heard that you can add a registry key but that does not work
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger]

"AddInFeatureEnabled"=dword:00000001


Please help! Doesnt 2009 version have this feature.

Add-In support was pulled in 2009, yes. So there's nothing to be enabled I'm afraid.

Thanks Jonathan for the reply.. never expected that I would get one...

Its very sad that Add-in support is pulled out in 2009... very very bad
indeed.. now I cant make a add-in unless I know how to add it in Messenger..

Hi Claton,

Well there's other things available, like using the Messenger Plus Scripting API, which has
at least survived longer than Microsoft's attempts.

Just out of curiosity, what is it that you've written (or nothing yet)?
