Enable Application to run in safe mode.

I have some application I wish to run in safe mode, but I get the following
error. unable to run the application in safe mode. Is there a process to
enable a application to run in safe mode ????

I need to run some diag apps because the hardware vendor believes the
problem is software and I say It's hardware. System performance disk IO and
memory is very slow using performance bench mark apps. Safe mode would
eliminate most of the software issues for testing.

Hi Conrad,

Some applications will not run in Safe Mode, because the needed
services/drivers are not loaded.

What I suggest is you try using the Diagnostic Startup in MSCONFIG and see
if you are able to load the program. You might also want to try unchecking
all programs under Startup (if Diagnostic Startup doesn'tw ork).
