Hi everybody

I recently discovered that my direct3D acceleration is listed as "no
available" when I look at it in dxdiag. This has caused me not to b
able to play many games which require it. I believe I caused thi
myself, while trying to get an old game called Worms:Armageddon to wor
on my laptop. I am not sure what I did in order to disable it, but i
may have involved a 3rd party program. I have since deleted thi
program, as I deleted everything in the folder of the game in an attemp
to fix this problem (to no avail). Does anybody have any advice on ho
to get it to work again? I have tried reinstalling drivers, bu
reinstalling directx seems more difficult on vista

System Spec.s

Gateway model E-475
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 230
DirectX 1
Vista business x3

Thanks for any hel

Please provide some more information.
What version of Vista
What type of video card
What version of video card driver
Do any games work

Maybe this Microsoft post will help you guys out:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/19166

I think personally that if your card isn't picking up the prope
acceleration for DirectX features, then you either

A) need to update DirectX(/and/or/) video card drivers or

B) Your graphics card is very limited and you need a better car
that better supports DirectX10 for Windows Vista

Either the case, the site link at the top couldn't hurt. Best of luck
Cheers
