From my son (who works for Microsoft) I received the Microsoft® Encarta®
Winkler Prins Encyclopedie 2007 for fathersday. But when I installed it on my
Vista Home Premium computer, (I had to install the Macromedia Shochwave 11
player as well) I found out that SOME ANIMATIONS are NOT working! But for the
rest the program works good. But when I installed the program on the XP
computer of my other son, JUST TO TRY OR IT WOKED, EVERYTHING worked good,
including ALL the animations!

Is there someone out there who can tell me WHAT I MUST DO to make my Encarta
program to work properly on my Vista computer as well ???

There is an update that you can download. It can be found in the
following Microsoft KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932246

Dear "Nonny",

Thank you for your quick respons to my "Encarta-question", but ... your
advise did NOT work! Because when tried to download the kb/932246 update, the
computer said that this update was NOT valid for my system ???

I do'nt understand this, because I have a LEGAL Windows Vista Home Premium
program on my computer!

May be the update was not valid for my system, because my Vista-version is
in the Dutch language, because I am living in Holland ????

But anyway, thank you very much for your quick advise !!! Maybe I will get
another advise from someone else later on!

Dear "Nonny",

Here is a second reply to your message. When I looked at all the MS-updates
that are installed on my computer, I found out that the kb/932246 update was
there already! Maybe that was the reason why my computer said that this
update was not valid for my system ... BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY THERE.

Once again, thank you veru much for your quick respons !!!

Dear Carey,

Thank you for your advise, but when I went to the URL that you gave me, I
found out that I have to pay $ 35,00 to get advise!!! You understand that I
am NOT going to pay $ 35,00 for a brand new Microsoft program that I received
as a free gift from my son (who himself is a Microsoft Enterprise Solution
Advisor | ATS EPG Finance in the Microsoft company), but does not work
properly only because Windows Vista does support it!

But anyway, thank you for your advise ...

Access to interactive media requires Adobe Shockwave and Adobe Flash Player. Visit:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash

and click on "Install Now".

Thank you once again, but I had installed the Flash and Shockwave programms
you mentioned already! No the THE PROBLEM IS, that some of the animations in
Encarta 2007 are working under XP but are NOT working under Vista, and for
THAT PROBLEM I am trying to find a sollution.
