I have a colleague with a Vista laptop, not Ultimate. It is using Slovak as
the base language. I have set the format to UK, the keyboard to UK and
updated the system accounts. However, the menus and the OS icons still use
Slovak. Do I take it from posts on this discussion board that there are only
two solutions - buy an English language version of Vista or upgrade to
Ultimate?

Yes except that Vista Business also supports MUI.

Yes. Those are the only options available if he wants to have his menus
and icons in English.

Excuse the poor spelling of my native language! Many thanks for the swift
replies, both, as I assumed it will have to stick with Slovak.
