Hi,
We have Windows Vista Enterprise at our company. I have the 64bit Enterprise
DVDs in Chinese Simplified, French, and English. I would like to be able to
allow some employees to switch between languages.
Enterprise is supposed to allow MUIs. It does allow me to add languages in
the control panel, however on the eOpen site, it only shows LIPs for
download. I downloaded some of them and it only has an lp.cab file, so I
assume this isn't the LIP for all versions of Vista since Home and the others
have no way to install the lp.cab file. I installed some of these LIPs
through the control panel, however not everything is translated. For
instance, when I shut down... it says what it is doing in the original
language of the install.
So I ask, am I downloading the MUI or the LIP as they are labeled? If they
are not the MUIs, where can I find these for my copies of Enterprise? They
are not on the eOpen site and when I called the World Fullfillment center to
order my media, they could not find any MUI media discs for me to buy.
Thanks,
Chris
