I keep getting this error at seemingly random times and I have no idea of
where to start to troubleshoot it. It opens an error popup, then keeps
opening them continuously until I reboot the system. Shutting down all
programs does nothing. It's been going on pretty much since I started using
Vista and I really would like to narrow it down. The only hits I get on
Google for this error happen to be in every language other than English. Go
figure.

aasp.dll is an ASUS driver.
Maybe your motherboard drivers need updating ?

I'm having the same problem, just after installing an ATI Radeon X1950
XTX and eventually it's drivers and Ati Catalyst, the asus utility
stopped working.
I'm sure of having the lastest drivers because I just downloaded them
all from Asus a month ago.

I have gotten the same type of message, but with a different error code 0000DBE5, only when my computer goes into sleep mode. I also have an ASUS mother board, and I was going to look into how the BIOS was setup for sleep mode and hybernation instances. If you find out more let me know. If I found out more, I will let you know.
