Epson V500 Scanner - Vista problems?

I have read several reviews that said they had trouble using the Epson V500
on their Vista computers. Is this a rare problem or am I likely to encounter
problems if I buy the V500 for my Vista system?

Epson list drivers for both 32 bit Vista and 64 bit Vista so they claim it
works just fine. Perhaps the reveiwers did not have current drivers.
