Hi,

I have a DVD+RW disc in my Recordable DVD drive. Vista recognizes this disc
as a DVD+RW. I can format it, write to it, delete from it, etc. However, I do
not have the toolbar option to 'Erase this disc'.

Perhaps related is that my format options are UDF (not Live File System).

Anybody got any ideas?

I have never seen that option anywhere before, what programs did you
see it in? Usually what happens is that when you re-use the disk it
deletes the old stuff off for you automatically.

This is an option that is available from 'My Computer'. A standard Vista
function.

Windows Explorer has it on the toolbar.
Or, you can right-click on the drive icon.

Thanks, Dave. But the subject of this email is that the option is not given
despite me having a DVD+RW.
