read treads for this issue, but thea didn't help me... I'm stuck on that
nasty 0x80092026 after recently applied MS-patches für Feb. (Patchday) on my
2K3 Ent Server.

To supply a bit more information, here are the last steps/installs - as far
as I remember (hope in the correct sequence):

-> computer had succerssfully installed all patches up to Jan. 2007
-> activated "updates for root certificates" (hope it' s that term in
english for my installation is a german one)
-> applied Feb. patches as suggested by (then still running) MS-Update service
-> SP1 for VS2005 failed when oissued by the Feb07 patch-coolection, so I
d/led and installed it seperately and w/o probs

Today I just wnated to look if any additional patches are out and... there
it is err 0x80092026 when trying to open MS-Upadte page

Any further ideas?
TIA Uli

sorry enough to say... but the problem was a change, a coAdmin did at wekkend

-> just the old "Trusted Publishers" properties at default domain-policy has
been set to the wrong params... resetted it to "All Users" and problem has
gone
