Error 080004004 when trying to install messenger

I have a new Acer Aspire D250-1786 model KAV60 and when I try to install
messenger from http://download.live.com/?sku=messenger I get error
080004004...

The computer should easily meet the requierements for installing messenger...

Any help on this error?
