I have 3 updates that fail to install. I have deleted the temp update files
and renamed the file to softwareDistribution SDTemp. I have saved to desktop
and tried the stand alone install. I have uninstalled antivirus and tried to
install updates. Still fails to install.
I am upgrading from trendmicro internet security 2007 to 2008. It starts a
stand alone windows update, that is failing to install (no update or error
info). Which cancels the upgrade.
I purchased this version of Vista. With a XP Home upgrade coupon. Xp was
perchased in Dec 2006 before the vist Launch. I have 2 identical computer.
Only 1 has the update errors. I can not figure out how to repair Vista.I have
not tried to uninstall Vista Upgrade.
