Hi veryone and thanks in advance for any help.

I am running Windows 2000 Profesional. When I try to update the service
pack, the pack installs properly. When the computer restarts a blue screen
appears "***Stop 0x0000007b (0xeb81b84c, 0xc0000004, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Inaccessible_Boot_Device". I have tried sp2, sp3, and sp4 with all the same
results. I tried a microsoft fix using the repair console but then end up
with winlogon.exe error. The only way to solve the problem is to reinstall
windows off of the cd. I have read some of the other suggestions up here
with no results. TIA
