Using windows XP home edition I get an error after installation when I try to
reboot the error isoxoooooo7E (oxC0000005, 0xf77f0756, 0xf7a2b430, 0xf7a2b12c.

I'm not an expert user, if anyone can help with a solution I would
appreciate the help.

<QP>
0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
A system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not
catch. There are numerous individual causes for this problem, including
hardware incompatibility, a faulty device driver or system service, or some
software issues. Check Event Viewer (EventVwr.msc) for additional
information.

Continual reboots/can only boot into Safe Mode after installing WinXP SP3?
See http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?p=187790#p187790 or simply rename
INTELPMM.SYS to INTELPMM.OLD.

=============================

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3), until 14 Apr-09. Chat and
e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada.

Hello Mark,

940322 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940322/) Error message after you
enable the ETW trace log on a computer that is running Windows XP: "0x0000007E

Error message after you enable the ETW trace log on a computer that is
running Windows XP: "0x0000007E (0xC0000005, parameter2, parameter3,
parameter4 ) SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"

Hopefully that should rectify the situation.

Let us know maybe someone else can conjure up something else to try.

Good luck

Workarounds:

1. Boot into Safe Mode and rename INTELPMM.SYS to INTELPMM.OLD.

2. After booting into Safe Mode:

Start | Run | (copy/paste) sc config intelppm start= disabled | OK | Reboot
into normal (Windows) mode.

• You receive a “Stop 0x0000007E” error message after you upgrade to Windows
XP Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 on a non-Intel-processor-based computer
