If you currently have a non-genuine version of
Windows XP Professional installed, you'll need
to perform a "Repair Install" using the new
Windows XP Professional CD and Product Key
you purchased. You cannot simply change the
Product Key because the non-genuine installation
was performed with a non-genuine Windows XP
Professional CD.
