Error 0x80004005

Just recieved a computer I bought off an individual that came loaded with XP
Pro. I paid the $150.00 for a new license key. When I try to run the program
to install the new key it gives me error 0x80004005 failed: winlogon.exe .
Any ideas on how to fix?

If you currently have a non-genuine version of
Windows XP Professional installed, you'll need
to perform a "Repair Install" using the new
Windows XP Professional CD and Product Key
you purchased. You cannot simply change the
Product Key because the non-genuine installation
was performed with a non-genuine Windows XP
Professional CD.
