Not sure if it's related to the recently installed NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 but
here goes the history, in chronological order:
- Windows Live Mail 12.0.1202.516 (Beta 2) with NOD32 Antivirus 2.7.39: no
issues
- Windows Live Mail 12.0.1202.516 (Beta 2) with NOD32 Antivirus 3.0.551
(uninstalled 2.7.39): no issues
- Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606.1023 (official final released) with NOD32
Antivirus 3.0.551: error 0x80004005
* tried uninstalling Windows Live Mail and reinstalling numerous times but
to no avail
- Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606.1023 (official final released) with NOD32
Antivirus 3.0.560 (installed over 3.0.551): error 0x80004005
* tried uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Live Mail and NOD32 Antivirus
numerous times but to no avail
- Windows Live Mail 12.0.1202.516 (Beta 2) with NOD32 Antivirus 3.0.560:
error 0x80004005
* it used to work before that
All protection (realtime, e-mail, web access) has been turned off since day
1 as I only need to use the on-demand scanner. Any thoughts?
