Hey all,

As the subject says, I'm receiving this message when trying to check for
updates today on a WinXP Home SP2 system:

Errror Number: 0x80040150

Rebooted the system, cleared history and temp files, restored security
defaults and advanced settings to default, and still nothing works. This
error shows up almost immediately after clicking on either Express or Custom
updates. I can't find this error number anywhere on the MS site either, so
I'm at a total loss on how to update this system right now.

Anyone see this error before?

My system was working fine - I left a domain and started to work in workgroup
mode - after that, Windows Update stoped to work - same error -
[Error number: 0x80040150]
