Error 0x80070246

Hi all

Running Vista Home Premium and havebeen unable to receive any updates since
March. Get message "Windows cannot search for updates" with error code
0x80070246. Tried downloading SP1 from the MS download page which was
successful but when I try to run & install I get the same error code!

I found MS support page kb942968 which is supposed to solve this but I
despite several attempts with it's suggestions nothing has changed!


Please help!
