Error 0x8007043C When attempt to do windows update

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping some could help me with the above reference error. I'm able to
login to my computer but when I lunch the internet explorer the page froze.
I try going to windows update and I get the following error message: Error:
0x8007043C

The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

The only way I could get online fine is under safe mode but even there I
can't not do the windows update becuase I get the same message.

By, the way I running windows XP Professional with SP2 and Internet 7.0

The error occured because you are trying to get windows update while in safe
mode.

the error code means ERROR_NOT_SAFEBOOT_SERVICE

Translation: You need a service which is not available in safe mode.

You must do it normal mode. Fix IE first.
