I keep trying to download Windows XP Framework 3.5 Service Pack for Assistant
1.0x8.6 and it will not download. Recieve Error= 0x8007064C.

I cannot download KB963707 Power Point Security either. Recieve Error=
0x8007066F.

Both Updates say they are 0 size.

What do I do? How do I fix these?

Hello TRasmusan,

When posting to this Newsgяoup it is requested that you
at least provide us with details of the operating system
you are using including Service Pack level.
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375>

0 byte sized downloads means they've
already been downloaded to the system.

You experience this problem if the following conditions are true in the
following scenarios:

You try to update a computer that is running Windows XP.
You have repaired the Windows XP installation by using the Windows XP CD.

You have performed a new installation of Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2).
You have visited Windows Update site directly for updates and immediately
performed an update to Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3).

Did this issue appear after the application of XP SP3 ?

If the answer is yes, then ignore the title and read this:

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from
Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you perform a new
Windows XP installation or you repair a Windows XP installation
<http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943144>

Try Method 1 first as that appears to be the resolution for most XP
systems that can not install updates after the application of SP3.

Start | Run | (type or copy/paste) WUAUCLT /DETECT NOW | [OK]

Hi all;

I'm running Win XP Home Premium SP3.

I've downloaded the following:
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family
Update for .NET versions 2.0 through 3.5 (KB951847) x86

... but it won't install.

Error Code: 0x8007064C

I tried running this:
WUAUCLT /DETECT NOW

It didn't display anything, and I don't know if it should or not.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?

Please see this:

Updated: what to do if other .NET Framework setup troubleshooting steps
do not help
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archi...7/8108332.aspx

Running wuacult /detectnow just checks for available updates. It has
nothing to do with the .NET Framework unless there are updates available
for it.
