Error 0x800706BE, I can't find a solution or a workaround

I search for the same or simiral problem and i can't find anything! Please
help.
I have install the windows update V5 but when i press the cusmom install or
the expess install it bring me the same error: 0x800706BE
Anyone now something about this?

The error is related to call failure in a Remote Procedure Call. Is this on Win2000 or XP ?
To the point, have you disabled Remote Procedure Call Service?

Use Start button, select RUN, and type in
services.msc <Enter-key>

Scroll down to Remote Procedure Call. Make sure it is listed as "Automatic" in the Startup Type column.

I have winxp pro en, i tried the procedure with the services.msc and i
change the RPC to Automatic but i get the same error!
I don't know if it means something but in the event viewer i get daily the
error:

Event Source: ESENT
Event Category: Logging/Recovery

Description:
wuaueng.dll (2248) SUS20ClientDataStore: The database engine is initiating

and i remember that once i had the download.trojan virus in my computer that
maybe destroy the esent.dll file
