ERROR 0x80072F89

I received this error when I clicked on Scan for Updates. I recently had to
reinstall my entire operating system. After the re-install I had Internet
Explorer 5.0. I managed to upgrade that to 6.0 and it solved the problem of
scanning. I have now downloaded all of my updates. It also solved other
problems such as getting ActiveX error messages and Security messages on just
about every web page I visited. I hope this helps anyone out there that's
having the same problem.
