Error 0x80072F89 in Windows update

Greetings,

I have PC with Windows 98 SE operating system and Internet Explorer
version
5.00.2614.3500. When I try to search for Windows updates I receive error code
0x80072F89.
Has anybody solution to the problem ?

I faced the same problem when I had just reinstalled the system and connected
to the Internet. I have Windows 98 se

I then updated to the latest Intenet explorer

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...p1/default.asp

after which I faced no problems

Thanks. Yes downloading recent or latest version of Internet Explorer 6 or
higher did the trick straight away.
