Since May 18, the only thing that has successfully downloaded and installed
is the malicious software removal tool (on June 18). All other updates have
failed repeatedly no matter what I do, whether using Automatic Updates or
trying manually. If a manual install is tried after downloading an update,
it fails with the ASN.1 corrupt data error. Tried everything I have found in
this forum. The error is 80093103 which I found translates to ASN.1
corrupted data. Win XP SP2. Does anyone have any idea what causes this
error and how I might fix it????
