Error 0x800c0005 during Windows Update on Win2000 Server

Dear all,

I have a problem updating a Win2k Server . The Auto Update does not work but
I dont know what is the problem. I have checked the Computer
Management\Services\Auto Updates, it is shown as Enabled /Started/Automatic
before I changed it to become Manual.

I opened the Automatic Updates and the page's option seem to have blurred
out ; I cannot change any settings (normally can change the settings to :
Notify me.... / Download the updates automatically .../Automatically download
the updates"

I thought I should update it manually online so I went to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp. The Windows Update
error was shown on the page with an error:Windows Update has encountered an
error and cannot display the requested page.Error number:0x800c0005"

I found this page online too, but solutions below dont seem to work.

The question is :
1. How to solve SSL problem?
2. Is there anything called the Internet Acceleration software?
