Error 0x802+8011 when i try to update

I get error 0x802+8011 when I try to use windows update. I have windows xp
pro and have never had this problem before.

Does anyone know how to fix this error so I get check for updates

Where are you seeing that/those error(s)? The error codes are in this
format : 0x12345678

Does the error occur when you are accessing Windows Update, scanning for
updates, downloading, etc. ?
Check the WindowsUpdate.log found in the WINDOWS directory for error
codes. The most recent entries are at the bottom of the log.
