Error 0x80244016 Please Help!!

When windows update scans my computer for updates, i get error number
0x80244016. Can anybody help me out by telling me how to sort the problem.

0x80244016 - SUS_E_PT_HTTP_STATUS_BAD_REQUEST
Http status 400 - invalid syntax


Try :-



1. Delete temporary internet files and enable scripting of activex control files and
then test.
2. Download KB842773 (BITS 2.0)
Update package that includes Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) version
2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1 is available for Windows XP
