Error 0x8024502d durring Windows Updates

I was receiving error 0x8024502d when I tried to update along with Norton
Auto Protect errors upon boot up, I found the problem to be caused by spyware
changing the year on my computer to 2004. I re-syncronized the date/time and
all the problems went away. Hope this saves someone some time.

When searching for available updates on the Windows Update site, you
receive the 0x8024502d error
