error 0x8DDD0018+error starting automat.upd.service

Hi all!
When trying to download windows updates, it gives me the error : 0x8DDD0018.
Then, when trying to start up the service called 'Automatic Updates', it
gives me the error message 'Could not start the automatic Updates service on
local computer. Error 1083: The executable program that this service is
configured to run in does not implement the service'.

Does someone have an idea, please?

I do not have an option in Control Panel called 'Security Center'.
Any other idea how to start the service 'Automatic Updates'?

requested page" error message when you try to install an update


BITS could be disabled or not started.
