Greetings Again Rock,
I found a resolution to our common issue!
I read the POST:
Subject: Windows update hangs and gives error 0xC800021F - 8/11/2005 2:39
AM PST - By: Pat In: microsoft.public.windowsupdate
Which you'll find if you do a search on: 0xC800021F
Maily the solution proposed by fermu was:
Type this at the command prompt:
regsvr32 MSXML3.dll /s
net stop wuauserv
cd /d %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
rd /s /q DataStore
net start wuauserv
exit
The main difference I saw from other proposition that were directing us to
the SoftwareDistribution Folder, was to delete the Datastore directory...
I whish that it will resolve your issue as it did mind...
No fresh start needed for me!!!
Happy Thoughts!
